Filigree walls (also called sandwich walls or prefabricated walls) are modern building elements that represent an effective solution for fast and high-quality construction. They are prefabricated reinforced concrete elements that are manufactured under controlled conditions in a production plant and then transported to the construction site, where they are installed and finished.
A filigree wall usually consists of two thin reinforced concrete slabs (shells), which are interconnected by lattice reinforcement. A cavity remains between these slabs, which is filled with concrete after installation on the construction site. This connection creates a monolithic, highly load-bearing and strong wall. Filigree walls are used for residential and non-residential construction, where the emphasis is on speed, quality and efficiency.
