What is a reinforcing cage?

Reinforcing cage is a specific type of spatial reinforcement that is used to reinforce various reinforced concrete structures in construction, such as lintels, columns, cornices, etc. With its parameters, the reinforcing cage is designed for permanent formwork made of U-profiles. It takes the form of a welded or tied assembly of steel bars (rebar), which has a specific shape and dimensions.
